Here is an exceptionally rare, investment-grade art doll from the independent San Francisco studio of renowned artists Pamela and Noel Valentine. This is a true Studio Original, entirely hand-crafted, hand-painted, and hand-dressed. While mass-market licensed dolls were produced by the thousands, this exquisite studio original is from an ultra-limited boutique run of only 10 pieces worldwide, making it an incredibly scarce find for the serious doll collector. She comes complete with a matching original vintage wicker chair.
She has striking bright blue eyes, soft blonde hair, and meticulously hand-painted facial features. Her costume is a stunning example of the Valentines' signature romantic Victorian aesthetic with a sewn-in fabric "Valentine's Ladies" label inside the dress. She wears an exquisite light blue netting and blue lace overdress layered over a rich pink satin under-layer, creating a beautiful, multi-dimensional pastel "shimmer" effect when caught by the light. A lovely matching flowered hat, umbrella, pearl necklace, bracelet, and earings accessorize her costume.
Excellent vintage studio condition. Beautifully preserved and kept in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment. Free of chips, cracks, or repairs. The custom studio clothing is intact, clean, and retains its vivid colors.
