This vintage Polly Nassim Victorian handmade cloth Doll is very rare! She is #10 of only 83 made in 1977. Her hair is blonde and she has brown eyes. Her dress is from the time period of 1850-1880. It is a soft black velvet period costume with embroidered embellishments around the sleeves, bodice, and hem of the dress. A wide ribbon forms a "V" on her bodice. It is embroidered with peach, orange, and brown flowers with olive colored leaves. She wears a black crocheted net apron around her waist that is tied in back with a black ribbon. The netting has a beautiful lace edging. On her head is the same black, lace edged netting. It crowns her head with a cap. More netting is attached to the back of the cap. It is gathered together with a black bow and pink roses near the top back of her head. She wears a choker around her neck made of black ribbon and a silver bauble with a brown jewel. The shoes are black felt boots. She was made in the England, is in mint condition, and stands 19 inches tall.

We have a limited number of used/like new metal doll stands if you would like to purchase one with your doll. Please order only one doll stand per doll. It will be shipped in your doll box.
When using a doll stand, remember to completely pull the two parts of the stand apart by squeezing gently below the ring portion. Place the ring portion of the stand under the clothes around the waist of the doll to prevent damage to the clothes. Then squeeze the ring gently around the waist and slide it back into the base. Adjust to the desired height.
