This vintage 1984 India Doll #549 is from the International Collection created by Madame Alexander. She has black eyes and long, dark brown braided hair. On her forehead is the traditional bindi. She wears a two piece peach chiffon sari trimmed with gold woven ribbon. A long peach head scarf, trimmed with gold woven ribbon, wraps continuously from the skirt to over her head. Her feet are clad with gold sandals. She wears a golden snake bracelet on her arm. A double chain necklace wraps around her throat. She was made in the USA, is in mint condition, and stands 8 inches tall.
In 1984, this doll replaced the previoulsy blue clad India Doll #575.

We have a limited number of used/like new metal doll stands if you would like to purchase one with your doll. Please order only one doll stand per doll. It will be shipped in your doll box.
When using a doll stand, remember to completely pull the two parts of the stand apart by squeezing gently below the ring portion. Place the ring portion of the stand under the clothes around the waist of the doll to prevent damage to the clothes. Then squeeze the ring gently around the waist and slide it back into the base. Adjust to the desired height.
