Why Home School?

Homeschool is more than an education. It is a lifestyle choice. The Christian home school family has in its heart the goal to have awesome life-long lasting relationships, which is only achieved through extensive daily interaction with one another based on Biblical principles through the development of Christian character. This in conjunction with the desire to give their children an excellent Christian education through home-based, one-on-one teaching creates well-balanced and well-prepared adults.

Develops Wise Social Skills

By home schooling, a student is not indoctrinated into the negative behaviors and destructive habits of the disadvantageous social life in institutionalized education systems. This prepares more cooperative and respectful individuals who desire to be constructive contributors to mankind and our world.

Through home schooling, parents may carefully choose advantageous and positive social interactions that help a student become self-confident and able to effectively manage the social aspects of life with wisdom and ease. Parents are able to teach their children proper boundaries for their health, safety, and maintenance of Godly life values. This wisdom is not evidenced in institutionalized education systems where "anything goes," "everything is allowed," tolerance of sin is a "proper" and "responsible" citizen's duty, and "everything is relative." (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

Develops Community Unity Skills

Another result of home school socialization is that students are more comfortable in relationships with different age groups as opposed to their institutionalized counterparts who spend thirteen years (or more) in school interacting only with same-age individuals. Home school, therefore, more realistically prepares young adults to be capable of successfully interacting socially in the work world, which is largely composed of multiple age level employees.

Because of the internal home interactions, role modeling, and values of Christian home school parents, the children of these homes are also better-prepared for successful marriages to one spouse for life, which is evidenced by the divorce rate among home school families being less than 1.8% compared to a national average divorce rate of 50%.

Allows Biblical Academics

Home School gives every parent the opportunity to present a Biblical education to their children where every subject, not just Bible study, is built on scriptural principles infused with Biblical truth.

Because home school parents love learning and commit their lives to giving their children the best education possible by being involved daily, hourly, and minute-by-minute, they achieve their academic goals far more successfully than today's institutionalized education systems. (Proverbs 22:6)
