OUR EXCITING LAB KITS ARE AN ENJOYABLE LEARNING EXPERIENCE! You may use these kits as individual unit studies from which to teach and learn, or you may pair them with another science curriculum that you are using. The kits work well in any situation as a laboratory learning experience for the exploration and discovery part of science. |
![]() This kit gives your student a definite head start on experimental science! The kit contains five experiments that are fun, easy, practical, and specifically tailored to your student. While performing the experiments, your student will try to solve problems he/she may encounter at home or in his/her church/congregation setting. By using a combination of explanation, example, and experimentation, this kit teaches your student the scientific method used for all laboratory experimentation around the world. The steps are explained in detail and applied to a typical student situation in the booklet provided. Your student will learn how to test a hypothesis, develop problem-solving skills, analyze data, and draw conclusions, as well as write simple lab reports that follow the steps of the scientific method. Preprinted lab report sheets are included. For each experiment, this kit includes all equipment and supplies needed, except common household pantry items. Instructions and answers are included for you to guide the learning process and determine the validity of your student's discoveries.

This kit moves your student on to more advanced experimentation! It includes six exciting experiments in the areas of chemistry, food science, microbiology, and physiology that take from one day to one week to conduct. The experiments include: measuring the rate of capillary action in a plant, determining the optimal conditions for yeast growth, testing whether pasteurization is 100% effective, testing for the presence of bacteria by growing samples in agar, measuring body temperature fluctuations, learning about acids and bases, then distinguishing between look-alike acids and bases. By using this kit, your student will learn a variety of lab techniques, as well as procedures for making charts and graphs. Your student will also keep a log and write a more advanced, detailed lab report than what was mastered using THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD LAB KIT. If your student does not know how to keep a log or write a detailed report, you should purchase our HOW TO WRITE LAB REPORTS curriculum with this kit. If your student can keep a log and write a lab report, we recommend our MORE LAB REPORTS workbook.
For each experiment, this kit includes all equipment and supplies needed, except common household pantry items. Instructions are included for you to guide the learning process.

Lab equipment is often hard to find and expensive. In addition, you may not want easily breakable products when working on science with younger students. For these reasons our lab equipment is plastic, yet durable, and our prices are incredibly low! All of our lab equipment is professional quality used by labs, hospitals, and educational institutions around the world. You can stock up on plastic items: test tubes, petri dishes, and beakers, as well as pipettes. Wooden splints for stirring, litmus paper for acid/base experiments, and a starter lab equipment kit are also available. This lab equipment is so inexpensive, for the price of a few glass test tubes at the retail store, you can buy one starter lab equipment set for your student! #60101 TEST TUBES (Plastic-13 x100 mm):.........................................$0.30 ea |
Organization, analysis, and good writing are important skills for all students to master. Learning to experiment and write lab reports is not just a course that will transform a science student's writing. Humanities students, as well, will benefit tremendously from the organizational skills and logical thinking processes that change a paper from a flurry of thoughts into an articulate and well presented paper. This easy-to-use consumable textbook teaches your inquisitive student how to write science lab reports in a step-by-step format. The introductory sections include: What is a lab report? What are the elements of a lab report? What is the scientific method? What experiment/science project should be chosen?
This 92-page book is intended for all students, grades 3-12, performing experiments. It can be used with most third-party lab materials which may require a written lab report but do not provide detailed instructions as to how to write one. Do you have a student who loves to experiment? Do you have a science course that requires your student to perform multiple experiments? If your student performs additional experiments and desires to continue to use our convenient, preformatted log and lab report forms, you may purchase these supplemental workbooks. Prior completion of the HOW TO WRITE LAB REPORT workbook is required, however. Each workbook includes: 9 additional logs and 9 additional lab reports with grading charts.
